My name is Alison Gordon and thank you for stopping by to see what I am about. Whilst I am more than happy to tell you about the experience I’ve gained from working with organisations of varying sizes over the past 30 years, it is not all about me – it is about asking questions, listening to what you say and then collaborating and working together so I exceed your expectations.
In 2015 and after a 15-year career working for a leading provider of psychometric profiling products, I left to set up my own consultancy. I decided that the part of the job I had enjoyed the most (and which was in the process of being changed) was the consultancy and support I gave my clients to help them to use the psychometric assessment tools I sold, to solve their issue.
As I worked out my notice, clients began to ask me if I had considered setting up on my own and if I did would I please get in touch with them after I left.
So, Ace 1-2-1 Ltd was born!
Over 7 years experience helping businesses of all sizes and from a wide variety of industries
I have helped create bespoke solutions to issues such as:
- Designing and running workshops covering topics such as self-awareness; using psychometric assessments successfully in team development; diagnosing and resolving team conflicts; understanding the role of emotional intelligence in our interactions with others along with many other topics.
- Helped one specific business redesign its current recruitment process to include the use of relevant psychometric tools and helped cut down the costly errors associated with taking on the wrong people.
- Designing and running a programme to help senior managers adopt a coaching style in their interactions with others.
- I have also provided 1-2-1 feedback to hundreds of people on their mental toughness, behavioural style, aptitude and ability, emotional intelligence where the organisation has either not had the experience or time to handle this themselves in-house.
- Worked with an organisation to scope out a new role they needed due to growth and then handled the whole recruitment via a job board, sifting and assessing applications and then providing the organisation with shortlisted candidates so that all they had to do was the final stage interview and decide who they would employ.
